Most foreign nationals need a study permit to study in Canada
About the Process
With a few exceptions, most foreign nationals must apply for a study permit before entering Canada. In some cases, you may be able to apply at a port of entry. All study permit applications require verified acceptance into a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
