Want to know my best strategy for getting PR in 2025 and 2026? It’s the trades!!

Canada has been very clear that they want to bring over more tradespeople and offer them a way to keep being trades people in Canada. Apprenticeship programs no longer require a study permit. This is good news for lots of trades right now wanting to get PR in Canada.

Did you know that there is a way to get 50 points on your Express Entry Profile? It has to do with going abroad and getting that one year foreign work experience and going after those 50 points.

I really feel that the scores will come down in the coming months, but we want to make sure we’re getting the most points possible. Is this a strategy that you’ll try in the future? Let me know ! 👇

Did you know that Canadian Citizens that were born OUTSIDE of Canada, and who are Canadians because their parents are Canadian, cannot pass that citizenship on to their Children if their Children are also born outside Canada?

In essence this law makes sense - how can people with no connection to Canada actually just keep passing on citizenship to their Children born abroad?

The key is “connections to Canada” - right now this law prohibits even people who are born outside of Canada but have lived in Canada their whole lives, who’s spouse is Canadian etc from birthing a Canadian outside of Canada.

Bill C-71 seeks to amend that rule - if you have connections to Canada, but happen to be born outside of the country, you would no longer be a lost Canadian, but rather have a case to become a Citizen. 🇨🇦

Are you a construction worker that has lost status here in Canada? Did your work permit expire or did you fail to get one when you arrived?

If you are a construction worker and are out of status the government of Canada has done almost a 180 from their position on removing temporary residents and are looking at ways to regularize temporary workers in construction who have fallen out of status.

We don’t have all the details yet, but we are sure this program is aimed at building those homes that Canada so desperately needs.

If you would like to discuss this new release by The Canadian government tell me in the comments or send me a dm.

The best advice I have ever received is also the best advice I could ever give you.

It’s honesty.

The immigration system is full of people that will give you false hope, submit applications that they know will be rejected, or worse, sell you an LMIA or Work Permit.

There are also consultants and lawyers who will promise you a pathway where there isn’t one, or worse yet, a dead end that ultimately won’t lead to Permanent Residency.

We have always lived by this motto - that honesty is the best policy. And sometimes people don’t like it. So many of our less than five star reviews are from people that are not eligible to immigrate and are frustrated that we are not willing to bend the rules to get them here.

At Tudor House, we’re great at what we do. Sure, if there isn’t way, we will tell you. But if there is a way, we will find it. What we will not do is take your money if we don’t believe we can help you meet your goals legally.

So the best advice I could ever give you is to be honest, follow the rules, and get the right guidance from the beginning.

Major update from IRCC about Spousal Sponsorships 💥

The processing time for inland applications (meaning applications made for spouses inside Canada) is now 24 Months (previously 28 months at the time of filming this video!)

This is a significant increase from the usual 10-12 months it used to take.

Our thoughts? Apply for Outland sponsorship for now and take advantage of the shorter wait time. Of course this is not legal advice, just a Birds Eye view of the situation from here.

It’s time for some good news for Ukrainians living in Canada.

The government of Canada has extended work permits, visitor records and study permits for an additional 3 years!

As Ukrainians wait for a safe time to return home, Canada has extended the programs designed tío lend a hand during the war.

What is an RCIC?

Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants are professionally trained and qualified immigration practitioners who receive accreditation from the Canadian Government through an oversight body, the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

This oversight body operates in similar fashion to a law society, regulating the Canadian immigration consulting profession and protecting the consumers of immigration services.

If you are considering immigration to Canada, having an RCIC on your side will help you safely navigate the complexities of the Canadian immigration system and achieve your long-term immigration goals.

Do I Need an Immigration Consultant to Immigrate to Canada?

To immigrate to Canada, you are not required to use the services of an immigration consultant.

In Canada, we treat everyone equally, and you can always apply on your own. All the forms you need to do so are available for free on the Government of Canada’s Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship website.

Immigration consultants make the process of immigrating to Canada much easier. Whether you are emigrating from abroad, are applying for permanent residency, are looking for documents related to a visitor visa, are applying for foreign workers opportunities, or are trying to bring your loved ones to join you in Canada, the legal and documentation process can sometimes be complex.

Having someone to help you understand all the details can be extremely helpful, especially with so much on the line. After all, if you make a mistake, your application can be rejected or significantly delayed. All immigration processes can be made easier when consulting with specialists in the Canadian immigration services, such as at Tudor House.
